Music

I’ve played guitar since 6th grade and always loved music. I still write songs and compose some electronic music and play with friends as often as I can. I can’t imagine my life without music. I’ve listed a few things here for your listening pleasure.

Solo Work

These songs are mostly experiments done in GarageBand. Some instruments I play, some from GB. It’s up to you to figure out which.

Strange Face

Strange Face is the band name we play under for rock tunes — mostly classic rock, though we do play a few contemporary songs. Like Insane Pony, it started out as a joke — you know, when everyone looks at the drummer for a cue to stop the song, the drummer makes a strange face. Anyways, here are some tunes. My particular favorites are “All Along the Watchtower” and “Good Times Bad Times”.

Mike plays lead guitar, Leo drums, Matt bass and I’m the singer for all the songs except “Running Down a Dream” which Matt sings and the chorus of “Smoke on the Water”.
Live at Woods Hole 2006

Don’t know why “Sweet Child o’ Mine” got cut off. Forgive the sound quality, it was recorded on a camcorder microphone.

Insane Pony

Insane Pony is the band name we play under for folk and bluegrass music. It’s a tongue-in-cheek reference to Neil Young’s old band Crazy Horse. It started out as a joke and just sort of stuck.
